Hypothyroidism and feeling ill

Hello and welcome, why is it I'm on treatment but still feel unwell? How many people out there are suffering like me but are told "well your on treatment so i cant see why your feeling the way you do, it must be depression" I feel we still live in the dark ages when it comes to health, i don't need the doctor suggesting that its all in my mind, its enough to make you go crazy, all because they don't really know there selves. The amount of people that must have been locked away in the past because of this condition truly breaks my heart. I feel like the doctor would like to lock me up if he could, all ways putting my symptoms down to nervousness, I'm at my wits end, what do you do in a situation like this? Theres more to my Hypothyroidism i know it, and every instinct in my body tells me, this constant feeling of tiredness are not normal, the brain fog, forgetfulness, feeling cold all the time, and so on, if i feel down its because of this!!

Distiled Witch Hazel

I am one of the many people who live and suffer the consequences of an under active thyroid. Ten years i have been living with this illness, and it doesn't get better with age, i can tell you. People who live with an under active thyroid can complain of a whole host of problems that seem to fall on death ears when complaining to your doctor so you tend to look for solutions your self, well i have anyway. My problem is spots!! Mainly on my chin area, the doctor has given me antibiotics many times to treat these darn spots but with no success, so i thought right there has got to be another way, I've tried all manner of lotions and potions until my grandmother god rest her soul, was treating a bruise on her leg, i was like, "ooh whats that your using" and she replied "distilled witch hazel" i thought mmm going to give this a go, especially when i heard its for skin complaints, and is an astringent, i thought that might help with the greasy skin I've got. Anyway it does work I've been using it for years now, in the morning and before i go to bed, i still do have the odd spot mainly when its my time of the month but nothing like before!! Give it a go, be patient, as i noticed the benefits after a couple of weeks. I hope your skin improves as much as mine has....

Feed back would be great, Love to hear from anyone else who have noticed a difference.
